Our mission is simple: to reduce concussions and damage to the human brain to a minute amount, allowing both athletes & those needing protective headgear to enjoy a long and healthy life.

OUR APPROACH

TESTING
We wanted to put VTECH Headgear to the test. We researched impact standards & established ASTM F1446 & ASTM F2397 impact Norms. We then sent our sparring headgear to one of the top labs in the country to be tested and certified.
COMBAT SPORTS
Vulcan Pro Tech studied & observed various disciplines, their striking and knockout footage as well as each disciplines concussion percentages.
ENGINEERING
Our Material Engineers studied & put together the best materials, different thicknesses, combinations and densities until a superior impact absorbing formula was engineered.
MEDICAL RESEARCH
Our team studied multiple medical articles on brain anatomy, development, injury and of the effects of concussion. Together along with our Combat Sports observations, we determine which points on the head were most exposed during combat & thus requiring the most protection.
